Irini leads the Flower Flash Brand, overseeing all Social, Brand Curation and Creative Content. This includes collaborations and partnerships, securing press coverage, ideating launch campaigns, original programming and package design. Biggest hero products and special projects include a Flower Flash Book, a Flower Flash Candle and a full redesign of LMD’s website. Book
Published by Monacelli in 2021, Arakas wrote all copy, photographed the Flashes and led the design team, pulling archival imagery for a beautiful, collaged effect. Working closely with book designers Jeannette Abbink, Emily CM Anderson and editor Jenny Florence, bringing this book to life was an amazing experience with a swift turn-around!
Candle
The making of this candle was a collaborative effort with breathtaking results. The candle’s box was block-printed by hand in LMD’s studio by Jess Rizzuti. With a clever wink to the iconic New York City trash cans, the candle’s glass is tinted “ sanitation" green and etched with the litter bin’s signature diamond pattern. Arakas led creative direction on packaging, scent and photographing of candle.
WEBSITE
Working closely with web developer David Gage Hall, Arakas wrote all copy and crafted a full redesign of the LMD website. Designing bespoke art for a unique site that highlights all the talents of Lewis Miller Design.
