adi oasis - personal stylist

From 2014 to 2023, Irini served as stylist to French-Caribbean, Brooklyn-based soul-funk-r&b artist and producer Adi Oasis. Her approach to styling Adi’s stage outfits is very similar to how she designs her necklaces. Swizzling up Thierry Mugler and Jean Paul Gaulthier with vintage, plastic barrettes found on Etsy. The final result is a mix of textures, colors and sparkle. Irini’s work has been documented by acclaimed photographer Micaiah Carter and was featured in the book The New Black Vanguard: Photography Between Art and Fashion by Antwaun Sargent.
